Paper Quilting
Paper quilting is a wonderful money saving idea for scrapbooking. Do you save your scraps from all those pricey but beautiful scrapbooking papers? I sure do. A great way to use some of them up is to create your own design by colour or pattern blocking. Simply cut out random squares or other shapes from your scraps in matching colour families (this can also include an array of patterns in complimentary colours). Then glue onto a plain background paper, interweaving to create a wonderful theme all your own. If your scraps work well as a quilt, don’t bother using a background colour. Just let your imagination be your guide for an effect that is truly unique!
